I took the road less traveled, and honestly, I wouldn't change a thing!Over the years my work has grown well beyond traditional EA support. From managing HR and payroll for 250+ person teams early in my career to supporting venture capital general partners and startup founders, I've worn a lot of hats and have learned so much from every single one of them. I've had the pleasure of working remotely since 2012 and getting to support some amazing people and companies, including Cowboy Ventures, Google Cloud, Rakuten and a handful of other awesome investors and venture-backed startups. Currently, I support the CEO + CTO and People Operations at a venture-backed Series A startup, and still long-time EA to one of the coolest dudes in Silicon Valley, Ted Wang.What most people don't know though is that in a lot of ways, my entire life has been a startup.I have a weird ability to figure things out faster than I probably should, which turned out to be a pretty solid career strategy. A decade in, I finally earned my GED (better late than never, right?!) and went on to earn my Associate of Business degree from the College of Southern Nevada, while working full-time at Cowboy Ventures.Outside of work, I'm wife to the best husband, proud mom of two amazing kids, and dog mom to two very furry velcro German Shepherds and a very opinionated Pitbull-mix. When I'm not keeping everyone's lives in order, you can find me trying to see all my favorite bands before they retire.
